Dental Hygienist

From South Florida, Judy moved to NC 11 years ago. She graduated from Miami Dade College in 1986 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Judy strives to ensure the patients always feel well informed and comfortable during their visit. She has 2 daughters in Asheville and Raleigh and 7 grandchildren. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering her time treating the underprivileged at Urban Ministries and TROSA. She also enjoys exploring small towns and historical areas throughout NC, spending outside time with her recently adopted dog, Jack. And loves a good practical joke!!!

Jordan

Administrative Lead/Patient Concierge

Born and raised in central Ohio, Jordan and his husband moved to North Carolina in 2021 seeking out new opportunities and adventures. Jordan comes previously from the field of caregiving for the elderly and individuals with disabilities and brings that same compassion and focus to serving Beyond Dental’s patients. He has a passion for learning and is always seeking out new skillsets to acquire. At home, Jordan loves reading, writing, spending time in nature, and cuddling up with his dogs, Dahlia and Iris.

Nia

Dental Assistant

A Durham, NC native with New York roots, Nia earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2025, where she also competed on a full athletic scholarship for the women's basketball team. In her senior year, she helped lead her team to both conference tournament and conference championships, earning a spot in the NCAA Women's Tournament against USC. Grounded in her faith and active in her church community, Nia enjoys volunteering and playing basketball in her free time. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming, supportive environment where every patient feels comfortable, confident, and cared for.

Jennifer

Patient Concierge

Jennifer is a North Carolina native with a deep love for exploring the world. When she’s not traveling, she enjoys immersing herself in reading, expressing her creativity through writing, and baking. She holds a diploma in translation and is currently working toward a career as a dental assistant.
Driven by a strong passion for helping others, Jennifer is always eager to learn, grow, and connect.

Yanna

Dental Assistant

Originally from Vietnam, Yanna has called Durham, North Carolina, home for most of her life. Growing up in Durham gave her a strong sense of community and a passion for helping others, which naturally led her to a career in dentistry. Yanna loves being a dental assistant because she enjoys connecting with patients and helping them feel comfortable during their visits. She believes that even a small act of kindness or a healthy smile can make a big difference in someone's day. When she's not at the office, Yanna enjoys going for runs, watching her favorite TV shows, and spending time with her family and friends.

Aliya

Patient Concierge

Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, Aliya has traveled across the country to make North Carolina her new home. As a former Special Education teacher, she values equality, inclusion, and lifelong learning in every environment she's part of. Outside of work, Aliya enjoys writing and reading poetry, exploring her new community, and spending time with loved ones - including her new cat, Rory.
